It's okay guac, I'm extra too

I have been making my own guacamole for years, and now that we are in time where everyone can't wait to sit back down at a Mexican restaurant, order a margarita, some queso and guac and eat it all before their entree arrives, I thought I would share my recipe. Because I for one, love to make my own guacamole!

It's so easy to make, and because it's homemade, it tastes so wonderful fresh.

What you'll need:

- 2 avocados

- 1-2 tomatoes, depending on preference

- 1 lime

(or lime juice, I prefer a real lime)

- ~2 Tbsp. chopped onion

- ~1 Tbsp. Chopped cilantro

- 1/4 tsp. Garlic Salt

- 1/4 tsp/ Coarse Kosher Salt

Steps:

Alright, now the next part is tricky.. 😉

1. Mash the avocados

2. Cut tomatoes as preferred (I dice them)

3. Put everything (except lime) into a bowl, and mix.

4. Once everything is mixed, cut the lime in half and squeeze over the rest of the guac, and stir one more time

And Finally...5. ENJOY!

The finished product

Guacamole is one of my all time favorite snacks, and it's so simple to make!

Even after we no longer have to stay inside, I will probably still prefer this homemade guac, over restaurant guac. Making it at home is so fresh, and wonderful to have as an inside snack during your movie binge, a side to your Taco Tuesday night, or even if you are able to lounge outside enjoying the weather!

Let me know the variations of your guac, or let me know if you try this one!
